Best career move I ever made! More and more men are entering this field. it is quite a diverse field now. I specialized in psychiatric nursing and I love it. I work with people that have been detained against their will for psychiatric treatment. It can be a very dangerous environment to work in. Ive been assaulted a few times, but no serious injuries. Now it is a felony to assault a healthcare worker. :) I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing my patients go from psychotic to a stable state. Good luck to you in your nursing career, Andrew.
