Moved to Stillwater right after
high school, attended OSU. Moved back to Norman, got married,
graduated from OU, got divorced. Worked in Mississippi, Alabama,
Wisconsin Chicago, & Dallas as a Pavement Management Tech (road
surveyor). Got tired of the gypsy life, moved to Stillwater
to build houses. I had been wanting to use my degree for quite
some time, so I took my current job, with the Oklahoma Department of
Transportation, in the Survey Division. I have been w/ the Dept.
for 9 years. In the midst of my travels I have made many friends
and had lots of good times, graduation was only the begining, and I had
thought high school was as good as it could get. I would
not trade any of it for anything. See you all soon.

my daughter in 2002. I divorced soon after and in Sept., 2006
married the love of my life, David. I am currently at home
raising my daughter, and doing volunteer work for a local wildlife

I went to OU for 4 years but didn't
graduate...apparently I attended too many parties (living in the frat
house and trying to go to school wasn't a good mix for me, but that was
`86 - `90). For nearly the past 10 years I've been living and
working here in Norman
as the Production Manager of a marketing firm. Although I've
never been married I have a son, Tyler, who will turn 11 next
month. He and his mom moved to Boise, ID
when he was four and a half. I've
kept in touch with him and have seen him 4 or 5 times a year for the
whole
time he's been gone. They are moving to Edmond, OK
in July `05...I can't wait!

Hello, all who know me. First
off,
let me say that after reading a lot of the entries I felt a bit uneasy
about
contributing information. I have not been so successful as far as
careers
go. In worldly
adventures and living on the edge, I have several degrees. :) After
high
school I was enrolled at OU for 3 semesters. I am not sure how much I
attended.
I much more enjoyed the partying life and gave up on attending school.
Supposedly
for a year. I should have listened to my parents. I
moved to North Carolina in 1991 and lived there for 9 years. I loved it
there.
Met my wonderful husband, Sam, there and we married in 2000. Moved to
California
for a year before moving back to the great city of Norman in 2001. We
bought
a house on 6 acres in 2003 and had the most beautiful baby girl, Sofia,
in
August of 2004. We live a simple life, have chickens, a garden every
summer
to make fresh salsa, and peaceful starry nights. I could go on and on,
but
I have been told forever that I talk too much. If you knew me then and
are
reading this and would like to chat, e-mail me. If you knew me from
Spanish
class, my husband is from Mexico and we speak Spanish and English at
home.
I am so proud that my daughter is going to be bilingual. I look forward
to
seeing you all at the reunion.
