After finishing my music
education degree at OU in 91, I spent two years as an oppressed Sooner
fan in grad school at UT-Austin, studying conducting. I met my wife
Michelle (a wonderful flutist) there, and we have been living the
turvy-topsy world of an academic couple ever since. With public school
music teaching, temporary university appointments, going back to grad
school for my doctorate in conducting, and a return to college
teaching, we have moved at least every three years since we were
married.
Now, it is all starting to pay off! I am in a tenure-track position as
Director of Bands at McMurry University in Abilene, TX. Michelle is
teaching Studio Flute, Music Appreciation, and Elementary Music
Education at the same school. We are in our third year here, with no
immediate plans to move again. We don't have kids yet, but now that
life has settled down a bit, we'll see what the future holds. For now,
two cats and a dog are masters of our domain.

Done a lot since H.S..
Joined the Army, got out 6 mos later after nearly dying from severe
pneumonia. Partied hearty for a few years. Then my daughter
Christina was born in 1991, I married her mother in 1992. Nearly
killed in 1994 in a hit and run accident. Spent 2 years in
physical rehab for that, all parts work well now! :) Divorced in
1996, have been a Single Dad since then. Done various unglamorous
jobs that allowed me to raise my daughter w/o having to put her in
daycare. I've lived in Arkansas, Utah (where I lost my
religion), Massachussetts, then back to Oklahoma. I now work for
the Dept of Corrections.

college in NewHampshire only to conclude in Berkeley, CA. Then I jumped

NYC to enjoy wallstreet then I returned to the old stomping grounds to
raise
a family and work in a family business. Now I am enjoying my children
and

When I graduated from the
University of Oklahoma in 1991 with a B.S. in Meteorology, I worked
briefly as an intern for Gary England at KWTV9 and then I was selected
to become a meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS).
Through my 15 year career with NOAA and the NWS, I have worked as a
regional program manager, meteorologist and hydrologist at weather and
river forecast offices in Stephenville and Fort Worth, TX, and Slidell,
LA. I earned my masters (2000) and doctorate degrees (2004) in Civil
and Environmental Engineering from the University of New Orleans-LSU
while working at the NWS National Data Buoy Center in Bay St. Louis,
MS. In May of 2004, my husband and I moved back to Norman (just before
Hurricane Season) and I now work as a hydrometeorological
researcher at
the National Severe Storms Lab to improve flood and flash flood
forecasts and their warning programs.

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota
where I have been for the last 12 years. Yes, it does get cold in the
winter. I am married and have 2 boys (5 and 2). I have a medical
practice and teach at the University of Minnesota Medical school.

After HS graduation I attended
OU
and received my BA in Marketing. I then headed to Houston and worked
for
Neiman Marcus then the Westin Hotels. I received my MBA from Rice
University
so I could change gears and enter the world of high-tech. I moved
to
Dallas and worked in telecommunications.
I met my husband, Terry, and we were married in 2002. We now live
in
Plano, TX (Dallas) where I am in marketing for the energy
company.
I did not attend the 10 year reunion so keep me posted on plans for our
big
20th next year. Hope to see many of you!
